The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has received funding through GEF through UNDP to implement a 6-years GEF funded “Sustainable and Integrated Landscape Management of the Western Area Peninsula Project” (WAPP) for which they may want to proceed with the Procurement of 200,000 (Two Hundred and Thousand) Assorted Tree Seedlings and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the said Procurement.
Bidding is open to all suppliers who can demonstrate their interest, capability and capacity of supplying and meeting the list of criteria for eligibility set below:

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 10:00 to 2:30 on Fridays each day.

A formal Ministry receipt will be issued to the bidder in evidence to the Bank Slip before the issuance of the Bidding Document by the Procurement Unit of the stated address below.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Friday 16TH OCTOBER 2026 at 12:30pm of bid closing.
All bids must be accompanied by the following:
- A valid Business registration certificate
- Bid Security from a reputable Commercial Bank
- A valid tax clearance certificate
- A valid NASSIT clearance certificate
- A Valid Municipality/Local Councils License
- NPPA Registration Certificate
- Signed and Stamp Bid Form
- Evidence of similar work done
- Sample of some seedlings
- A signed Integrity Pact: (see attached)
Bids will be publicly opened on FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER, 2026 at 12:30 pm in the presence of the bidders or their designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below. Late bid will be rejected and returned unopened to Bidders.
