Community Residents of Cole Farm Declare Zakaria Jalloh Wanted

Reports fromCole farmoff Wilkinson Road, Freetown in the Western Region of Sierra Leone reveal that one Zakaria Jalloh narrowly escaped lynching by community youths on allegation that he and his family are witches, and have been declared wanted.
Investigation mounted by this medium discovered that this declaration was as a result of occurrences of some mysterious death in the past years latest of which was in 2023 about a young girl in the community who was hit by a strange illness that resulted in her hospitalization for a week, followed by a visit to a popular traditional healer in a nearby village. She was said to have died shortly after two days at the traditional healer’s house.

Community members explained to this medium that the young girl was up and around, but suddenly felt sick, complaining of pain in the stomach. She was taken to the hospital and spent a week there. Instead of improving while undergoing treatment, her health deteriorated and her stature shrank.
It was further disclosed that her family, apprehensive of her deteriorating situation, took her to a traditional healer in a nearby village, who, after performing some ritual, told them that she was attacked by witches, giving a description of the said witches that was interpreted to mean Zakaria Jalloh.

Sources close to Zakaria’s family, on basis of anonymity, told this medium that at the death of the girl the family and the community youths have since been threatening to wipe out Zakaria’s entire family. As news of their plans leaked, Zakaria Jalloh and family are said to have narrowly escaped when the angry youths stormed their home. They are said to have gone into hiding or may have even left the country due to the pursuit by community members.
Community residents maintained that Zakaria and family would pay for the death of their loved ones.
As we go to press the whereabouts of Zakaria Jalloh and other members of his family are still unknown.
