OC Inspector Idrissa Koroma Praised
Inspector Idrissa Koroma, Officer Commanding the Operational Support Division (OSD) Waterloo Division, has received widespread commendation from members of the public and media practitioners for his remarkable efforts in transforming and improving key facilities at the Waterloo Divisional Headquarters.
Widely recognized for his dedication to maintaining peace, security, and public safety within the division, Inspector Koroma has, since his transfer to Waterloo, embarked on a series of developmental initiatives aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness and physical appearance of the division.
Among the notable projects undertaken under his leadership are the construction of ultra-modern toilet facilities, the renovation of the Arms and Ammunition Store, the construction of a modern guard post, the establishment of a UP Sentry Guard post, and the construction of a new main entrance gate at the Waterloo Police Divisional Headquarters.
These developments have significantly improved the working environment for officers and strengthened the division’s security infrastructure, earning Inspector Koroma praise from both colleagues and community stakeholders.
Speaking on the officer’s achievements, the Director of OSD, Commissioner Ibrahim Mohamed Sama, lauded Inspector Koroma for his exemplary leadership and commitment to development.
“I have known Inspector Koroma for a long time. Apart from providing the requisite security for the residents of Waterloo, he is also a man with a strong passion for development wherever he is assigned,” Commissioner Sama stated.
He further encouraged the Waterloo OSD boss to remain committed to serving humanity and contributing positively to national development.
“I urge him to continue working for humanity for the sake of posterity,” the Commissioner added.
In recognition of his outstanding leadership, vision, and dedication to the growth and success of the Sierra Leone Police, Inspector Idrissa Koroma is expected to receive the JWB Leadership Media Award in the coming days. The award seeks to honour his contributions to public service, institutional development, and community security in Sierra Leone.
His achievements continue to serve as a testament to the impact of visionary leadership and commitment to duty within the Sierra Leone Police Force.
