In a significant boost to community development and rural electrification, Afro Asia Mining Company, through the Community Development Committee (CDC), has donated 175 solar lights to the people of Lower Banta Chiefdom, Moyamba District.
The solar lighting initiative, which is aimed at improving access to basic lighting in communities that continue to face electricity challenges, was officially launched by Paramount Chief John Jibao Russell Nyamaa II at a ceremony held at Mosenesie Junction.
The initiative represents an important intervention for residents, particularly in communities where access to reliable electricity remains limited. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Paramount Chief John Jibao Russell Nyamaa II welcomed the donation and expressed appreciation to Afro Asia Mining Company and the Community Development Committee for supporting the people of Lower Banta Chiefdom.
